Days after Spike TV released the first clip from the epic Lip Sync Battle of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, featuring Phil Coulson actor Clark Gregg singing Britney Spears' Toxic, his fellow ABC actress Hayley Atwell is responding to the challenge -- with The Offspring's Pretty Fly! With Season 3 still in question for Atwell, don't miss out on the hilarious battle between Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter.
Spike has just released the first clip from Atwell's response to Gregg. While it's clear the Iron Man alum put a little more pizzazz into his performance, the 1940s spy lady still went full rock 'n roller at the show, making fun of Gregg by singing that the "girls say I'm pretty fly/for a white guy."
Still, Atwell's going to have to try harder at the director for SHIELD if she wants to win this thing, considering he didn't only do drag for his own performance, but he also reenacted Spears' video, with a hilarious and much hairier version of her iconic flight attendant outfit she wore.
The battle between the two ABC Marvel shows will finally see its finale this week, as team leaders Atwell and Gregg face each other on the Spike show. As the two said in a cute clip earlier this week, they have been fighting each other on Dubsmash for quite a while. And this should be the moment when things are finally decided between the two teams.
Agents of SHIELD is nearing the end of its third season and ABC already renewed it for a fourth, but the fate of Atwell's Agent Carter is considerably less clear at this point. After lackluster ratings (despite the fact that it's a very fun show with a fantastic heroine, not unlike Marvel's Jessica Jones), there's still no word on whether the network will renew Peggy Carter's adventures for a third season.
In any case, don't miss Atwell and Gregg's battle on Spike tonight!
