Beyonce Tour 2013: Bey Gets Specially-Made Stuart Weitzman Shoes For Mrs. Carter Show World Tour [PHOTOS]

Beyonce can dole out a lot of punishment on a pair of shoes with her frenetic dancing and powerful movements. That's why, for her 2013 "Mrs. Carter Show" Tour, she trusted her designer pal Stuart Weitzman to design appropriate footwear.

"If normal shoes have four nails in them, these have six or seven. We have to make sure she's not up there with broken heels!" Weitzman told the NY Daily News.

"It's like a battleground out there when she gets on that stage!" he said.

In spite of the need for specially reinforced shoes that can keep up with Beyonce's stage show, Weitzman says the singer is "very easy" to design shoes for.

"She knows what she wants. And she is so grateful to have these shoes made just perfectly so that she can perform without thinking about them."

Beyonce has called on Weitzman to design shoes for two previous tours.

"I have literally danced a thousand miles in his beautiful shoes," Beyonce remarked on Weitzman's designs last year.

Beyonce showed her appreciation, presenting Weitzman with the Footwear News' Lifetime Achievement Award last fall.

Beyonce's world tour kicks off in Serbia tonight.
