The CW Network continues with the premiere of DC's Legends of Tomorrow. In episode 11, Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) join White Canary (Caity Lotz) as they take the fight to Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) in Last Refuge.
At the Masters Council, a man turns to dust after the Pilgrim has killed his younger self. Back in Central City, Heat Wave and Cold are pretending to be firefighters as Young Mick watches his house burn. Atom (Brandon Routh) shoots the Pilgrim as he rescues the boy.
As she trains with Canary, Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) wonders about her relationship with Ray. The team only has one chance the save their younger selves in the timeline. Sarah is in the precinct with her father, Detective Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne).
During the shootout at the precinct, Pilgrim takes out Sara's father. Saving herself, Canary jumps in, fights Pilgrim in the hallway, and sets her up to take Heat Wave's blast. Unfortunately, Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) cannot find a trace of the Pilgrim's whereabouts.
While Cold and Rip argue, Canary has to teach Young Mick and Young Sara to behave. Just when Palmer is about to propose to Kendra, he suffers internal injuries from Piligrim's temporal attack. At Star City, the Pilgrim freezes and blasts Firestorm (Franz Drameh) away.
Hunter then shoots Pilgrim using the suit and knocks her out the window. Knowing Ray is safe, Kara then finds the engagement ring. Martin Stein (Victor Garber) realizes Pilgrim is stealing their younger selves as infants. Canary is the first person to know that Kendra is engaged. Unfortunately, Ray overhears Kendra's doubts.
Meanwhile, Young Mick and Sara have to babysit baby Snart. Martin learns Jax's father passed away after he was born. While Rip and Heat Wave rescue baby Martin, Jax gets the chance to meet his father, who happens to be a soldier off for deployment.
After Jax gets to say goodbye, Hunter takes the team to meet his mother and her safe house. The team learns about Michael's mother, who works for the Time Masters. Heat Wave confronts Young Mick about his obsession with fire. It takes his mother to remind Hunter that he is meant for great things. Stein listens to Jax as he cries about not saving his father. Kendra tells Ray that she knows their marriage won't last.
Pilgrim promises kill the loved ones of the team if they don't surrender. Hunter offers his younger self to save the team. At the meet, Pilgrim freezes the entire team as they attack. All of a sudden, young Rip takes out a knife and stabs Pilgrim. Now unfrozen, the team takes down Pilgrim and burns her to dust.
Heat Wave meets Young Mick and tells him it's not his fault. As Quentin takes his amnesia pill, Martin realizes his wife doesn't remember him. Jax talks to his father and asks him to be careful. Kendra puts the ring on, wanting to marry Ray.
With their younger selves out of the timeline though, the team has to race against the clock to stop Savage.
