Lionsgate Home Entertainment brings audiences the romantic drama, The Choice, on DVD and Blu-Ray. Before its official release date, check out one of the deleted scenes, starring Teresa Palmer and Benjamin Walker, from the special features on the disc.
From the plot synopsis, The Choice is based on a love story by author Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook), who is know to will make viewers laugh, cry, and wonder. Travis (Walker) happens to be a fun-loving and smooth-talking bachelor. Loving the bachelor life, Travis has never considered a serious relationship. That is until he falls hard for his beautiful new neighbor, Gabby (Palmer). But when fate threatens his love Gabby, Travis must make a choice. His decision will alter their lives forever in this unforgettably moving romance.
In an interview with North by Northwestern, the Warm Bodies actress describes the chemistry with her male co-star, "It was great though. I think the script acted as a leaping-off point for us. It was already all there. It was smart and witty, and we just threw in our own unscripted stuff very organically, and a lot of it made the cut. It's just who we are and what our relationship is with each other."
Walker adds how he prepared for the role, "Yeah, I think that's a trap for an actor when you start trying to image what people are predicting. It's like painting yourself into a corner. We both chose not to read the book until we'd done it so that we would not be swayed from the screenplay and from these two very specific people that we wanted to make as true to life as we could. And since reading it, we did pretty damn good!"
