Black Sabbath have been making their fair share of headlines recently. There is the off stage news and rumors surrounding Ozzy Osbourne's rumored marriage troubles with Sharon. The rocker just denied he and Sharon are getting divorce, but did admit to returning to alcohol and drugs recently. On stage, Black Sabbath is about to debut their new single "End of the Beginning" on CBS's hit crime drama "CSI" during the shows season 13 finale on May 15. The band is also promoting their first album together since 1978's Never Say Die! titled 13. Black Sabbath has also just made news by announcing they will be performing in the U.S. for a few tour dates, in addition to their previously announce international tour stops.
Black Sabbath's new eight song LP is set to be released June 11 and they are making sure they get the word out. Besides the "End of the Beginning" single which will air on CBS's "CSI," Billboard is reporting that the first single off their new album to debut will actually be "God is Dead?" The single will apparently play on Clear Channel radio stations this Thursday April 18.
As for the band's 203 tour plans, it looks like North America just got some tour stops from the legendary metal band. Later this summer, Black Sabbath will be visiting New Jersey, Toronto, Seattle, and Los Angeles. Check out the tour dates:
Aug. 4: Holmdel, NJ (PNC Bank Arts Center)
Aug. 14: Toronto (Air Canada Centre)
Aug. 24: Seattle (Gorge Amphiteatre)
Sept. 3: Los Angeles (Los Angeles Sports Arena)
These tour dates are in addition to stops the band will be making in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Europe. Tickets for the North American dates reportedly will go on sale Saturday, April 20. Black Sabbath fans in the U.S. now have at least a few dates to get excited about this summer.
