It looks like yesterday's big rumor about a "Friend" comeback reunion season has turned out to be completely false. The hit NBC comedy's Co-Creator Marta Kauffman was recently asked by E! Online about the supposed reunion season in 2014. Kauffman laughed off the rumor saying that it is definitely not happening and that any sort of reunion is not going to occur either. So feel free to let keep hoping for some sort of Ross, Phoebe, Rachel, Monica, Joey and Chandler meet up, but it looks like that is not going to come to fruition.
When asked if she heard about the reunion season rumor, "Friends" Co-Creator was pretty blunt with her answer: "I'm going to clear this up-it's not happening!"
She was even asked about other "Friends" rumors including a one-ff Thanksgiving episode special and a possible movie. Kauffman simply shook her head and kept saying "no" to each and every rumor.
"Friends was about that time in your life when your friends are your family and once you have a family, there's no need anymore," Kauffman explained. "I'd rather people go, 'Oh, please! Please!' than 'I can't believe you did that. It was horrible.'"
