Ever since Beyoncé hit us with the phenomenon that is Lemonade, fans and celebs alike have been in a frenzy. The first song debuted from the album, "Formation," caused quite a stir with law enforcement officials deciding to boycott working her Formation World Tour concert. Queen Bey never lets the haters get to her and in an effort to troll the naysayers, the Queen has decided to cash in with creating "BOYCOTT BEYONCE" merchandise.
In the song "Formation," Queen Bey discussed many issues within society such as violence against African-Americans, the government not protecting us as they should, and the beauty of being a black woman. Many law enforcement officials took offense (for no reason) and decided to rally against the star. Unfortunately for them, you can't keep Queen Bey down.
According to VladTV, Bey took control of the situation by releasing "Boycott Beyoncé" merchandise. The Formation World Tour is underway and fans are in for a real treat.

The merchandise features socially conscious material as related to "Formation." The move within itself was a smart one for the entertainer as she can not only cash in on the unnecessary hate but also spread her message in another avenue.
President Lt. Javier Ortiz led the call for the national police union to boycott all Formation World Tour U.S. shows after Queen Bey's halftime performance at the Super Bowl. He believed that Bey was promoting the Black Panthers and an anti-police message. While many police officers followed suit, Minister Louis Farrakhan and the NOI pledged to protect the performer if law enforcement refused to.

If you've seen how the public has responded to Lemonade than you realize that not only has the boycott helped Bey it has elevated the project even more. Despite the negativity, Bey is able to bring people together through music and allow African-Americans to be unified.
If you ask me, this was a genius chess move. That's how you embrace your own backlash. Go ahead, Queen Bey.
