Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and Marvel Studios are a week away from the official release date of Captain America: Civil War. Before Captain America 3 hits theaters, relive the adventure with Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) in the Ultimate Franchise trailer.
As we previously mentioned, based on the Civil War run from Mark Millar and Steve McNiven, the Superhero Registration Act has caused a monumental the divide between Tony Stark aka Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Steve Rogers (Evans). Iron Man appears to be in favor of the government bill that would force heroes to register themselves and reveal their true identities. Sides will be chosen as both leaders form their own teams.
Not only are Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, and Elizabeth Olsen are returning to their superhero roles, newbies such as Spider-Man (Tom Holland) and Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) are joining the fray.
According to Comic Book Resources, Fandango has cut together the most significant scenes from the Captain America movies, including the one where Steve kisses Peggy Carter (Hayley Attwell) for the first and last time. The two minute footage reel highlights the events from the Winter Solider and Age of Ultron films, which lead up to Civil War.
In an interview with Collider, transcribed by Blastr, Evans discusses how long he would like to carry on the Captain America mantle, "We'll see. I know in the comic books that the shield gets passed off. And what you do know, more than anything else in this process -- meeting fans, experiencing these junkets and people who love the character -- the character is bigger than you and whatever the character needs, whatever Marvel needs for that arc, I'm willing to do. So if that is me passing it off, you pass it off. But if they want to make more, I'm ready."
Captain America: Civil War arrives in theaters May 6, 2016.
