Country music star LeAnn Rimes has once again been accused of suffering from an eating disorder. In a recent interview with British media source, The Daily Mail, the 30-year-old singer denies these rumors and claims her weight loss has been due to stress and lack of sleep.
Here is a picture from Twitter that spurred the rumors of her eating disorder:
"People said I was [anorexic] but I didn't have a problem with eating as I ate a ton all the time -- I could eat my husband under the table!" Rimes said of her drastic weight loss in 2011. "But I was going through a time when I just wasn't sleeping -- my mind wouldn't shut off and my heart was breaking."
In the past, Rimes had always blamed her sudden weight loss on stress and lack of sleep in response to her failing marriage with Dean Sheremet and her very public affair with actor and now-husband Eddie Cibrian. Rimes eventually checked into rehab in 2012 for "anxiety and stress," and has since stayed in the public eye thanks to her husband's ex-wife, current "Real Housewives" star Brandi Glanville, refusing to be candid about the affair and divorce.
LeAnn has seemingly put the past behind her and is fine sharing her story about her weight loss.
"Now I'm secure about my body, although I'm like any other woman and have my moments of self doubt," LeAnn shared. "But it's nice to have a husband who tells you you're beautiful all the time. I'll say to him: 'I've gained a few pounds' and he'll say: 'Good!' It just gives you another level of confidence."
Rimes continued, admitting that her chosen profession puts a lot of pressure on her image.
"Being in this business, I've noticed that image-wise it's definitely worse for a woman," she said.
