Disney Interactive Media recreates J.J. Abrams' Star Wars 7 for their 'As Told By' Emojis YouTube Series. Check out the recreation of Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer, starring Adam Driver (Kylo Ren) and Daisy Ridley (Rey), as they become ideograms and smileys.

As we previously mentioned, the seventh installment of the Star Wars franchise is set approximately 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi. The end of Darth Vader's reign came with a price for both our heroes and villains. Stepping in for Darth Vader, Kylo Ren is trying to fill the empty void left by The Emperor, which forces the reunion of old faces, including Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), and new ones, including Finn (John Boyega) and Rey (Ridley).

According to Wired, the video happens to be latest installment in Disney Interactive Media's "As Told by Emojis" series. The YouTube series previously put up a similar twist, using other Disney properties. The animators have previously recreated Frozen and Aladdin. Check out the galley of storyboards as the animator planned out each shot.

As the tech media site explains, "Using icons like those that circulated on Twitter in the promotional push for the film last fall, the clip rather astutely captures J.J. Abrams' entire two-hour-plus movie in just three minutes. It even features BB-8's flaming thumps-up and a rather interesting interpretation of Kylo Ren's use of the Force on Rey."

If you have seen the movie before, and you're wondering how they're going to do that Han Solo scene. Don't worry, the 3 minute recap doesn't give away the scene and continues with its humorous tone made for kids of all ages.

From the official Disney YouTube Channel, the caption states, "Join emoji-fied versions of Rey, Finn, Kylo Ren, Poe, Chewbacca, Han Solo, Princess Leia and more Star Wars characters as they retell The Force Awakens, while we all wait for Rogue One."

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is now available on DVD and Blu-Ray.
