Snoop Dogg Calls Miley Cyrus One Of “Greatest Musicians Of All Time”: Singers Duet On Snoop Lion New Album 'Reincarnated,' 'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks'

Snoop Dogg spoke on the red carpet of the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday and called Miley Cyrus one of the "greatest musicians and personalities of all time."

The 41-year-old rapper recently reemerged as reggae artist Snoop Lion with a new album appropriately titled Reincarnated. He collaborated with Cyrus on one of the tracks, "Ashtrays and Heartbreaks," which deals with new beginnings and transformation.

"It's basically what we are both going through right now," Snoop Dogg said. "We're both going through transformation, we both love making music and doing what we do and speaking from our hearts, and it's just a great collaboration."

Snoop offered more positive words for the 20-year-old singer, whose engagement to actor Liam Hemsworth has been shaky.

"She is a great musician. I love what she does and she loves what I do," Snoop Dogg said. "It was brave of her to make the changes. I think people have a different idea about her but she is ready for this change. The song is one I already had made and her song came up and we didn't need to go any further."

The album, which features the track with Cyrus, will be released on Tuesday, April 23.
