The CW Network continues with the finale of DC's Legends of Tomorrow. In episode 16, Martin Stein (Victor Garber) and Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) join White Canary (Caity Lotz) as they take the fight to Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) in Legendary?
The Waverider has returned back to Central City; the mission has failed. Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) wants them to return to their timeline five months later. Hunter leaves them all behind as his ship flies away.
Canary returns home and finds Quentin (Paul Blackthorne) at the Arrowcave. He has to tell her that Laurel is dead. Lance holds his daughter as she bursts into tears. Ray (Brandon Routh) helps Heat Wave in his heist. They have to team-up to finish off the mission.
Jax (Franz Drameh) and Martin meet with the others to find the Waverider. After receiving a transmission from the team, Hunter returns to argue with them. They decide their future after everything is over.
Kendra (Ciara Renee) finds herself in 1944, stumbles into the woods, and meets a solider. She leaves a note in his helmet before Savage kills him. Back on the ship, Canary holds a knife to Hunter's throat before he knocks her out. Hunter finds the note that Hawkgirl left for him.
Carter/Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) promising to kill Vandal. Savage needs their blood to unlock the alien technology, the same species that gave them their powers. Hunter tells Canary that if they go back in time, Damien will kill her father and sister.
After Savage takes down the Nazis, the team interrupts the fighting. Firestorm is in the air when he finds his ship. After getting back Carter, Firestorm is unable to save Kendra. Working on transmutation, Stein and Jax are unable to change a vase.
Stein discovers Savage is planning a temporal paradox. Earth and Thanagar will be in sync for Vandal's master plan. Savage meets his younger self and hands over a vial of Kendra's blood. Stein realizes the team has to kill Savage three times to stop his plan.
In all three time periods, Vandal pours Kendra's blood and starts the ritual. After Hackman gets shot, Hawkgirl frees herself and joins the fight. In one time period, Canary fights Savage. In the next, Heat Wave is beating the crap out of vandal. In the third, Hawkman and Hawkgirl are winning the fight against him.
Hawkgirl stabs him in the heart, Canary snaps his neck, and Heat Wave burns him to death. The Atom shrinks the meteorite as Firestorm turns the rock into water. It's the last meteorite that is unstable.
Taking the meteorite, Hunter drives the spaceship to sacrifice himself. In outer-space, the Waverider heads off into the sun before it self-destructs. Hunter suddenly finds himself with his wife and son before the sun swallows the ship whole.
Gideon tells Hunter that she's not ready to die. After making one last time-jump, Hunter returns to the team.
After Canary visits her sister's grave, Martin's wife spoke to Jax to take him on the journey. Heat Wave talks to Cold and tells him he's a hero to him. Kendra and Carter aren't going with them though.
All of a sudden, the Waveirder crashes, Rex Tyler aka Hourman of the Justice Society of America warns them their death is coming.
