NBC Blindspot S01E22: Why Await Life's End Jaimie Alexander/Sullivan Stapleton Finale Recap!

NBC continues with the midseason finale of Blindspot. In episode 23, will Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) and Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) be able to solve another piece of the tattoo map in Why Await Life's End?

Jane trying to shower off the blood off her body. Her mind is consumed with Mayfair's death. At the same time, Weller tries reconcile with his father's confession. His own father murdered Taylor Shaw. in cold blood. 

Jane has to go back and recover more of her memories. Weller makes his own investigation as he searches Jane's safe house for clues. Elsewhere, Reade and Tasha are looking for Mayfair, but they don't know she had already met her demise. Weller teams up with his sister to find more clues behind his father's confession.

After his father's deathbed confession that he killed Taylor Shaw, Weller forced himself to dig up his childhood backyard. There was no body dug up. But Weller did find Taylor's body under their old campsite. This truly proves Jane Doe isn't really Taylor Shaw.

The team finally discovers a massive amount of Mayfair's blood. Reade and Tasha admit to Patterson that they have been keeping her in the dark about Carter's death. Patterson argues with them that they are supposed to be a team. They end up finding a USB key in her home safe. The USB contained files on Daylight and Orion that Mayfair has been hiding the entire time.

Jane tracks down Oscar for the death of Mayfair and gets caught. Oscar realizes he has to wipe Jane's memory again. Oscar revealed that she is not Taylor Shaw, but there is someone else above him. Their boss happens to be a mysterious man named Shepard.

This was all a plan to get rid of Mayfair and have someone less corrupt take position. This is all a giant plan to burn the government to the ground. This new government will rebuild everything from scratch. 

Jane ends up killing Oscar, killing him with an axe to the back. She ends up burning the barn, leaving the remains of Mayfair and Oscar behind. Just as she returns to home hoping to reveal the truth, Weller has a different plan for her. When Jane can't even answer what her favorite doll is, Kurt realizes that he has been lied to the entire time. 

Weller arrests Jane on sight and places the cuffs on her.
