'Person Of Interest' Kevin Chapman Talks Season 5's 100th Episode On CBS! INTERVIEW

CBS is days away from airing a major Season 5 event of Person of Interest. In an exclusive interview with MStars News, actor Kevin Chapman talks about the 100th episode featuring Lionel Fusco in the war between The Machine and Samaritan.

As we previously mentioned, when the first season started, former billionaire Harold Finch (Michael Emerson) and ex CIA operative John Reese (Jim Caviezel) raced against the clock to prevent violent crimes before they could happen. With the help of the artificial intelligence known as The Machine, they managed to save innocent lives right when their numbers popped up. But they never expected to go up against an even greater threat known as Samaritan.

In our recent recaps, in its fifth season, Detective Lionel Fusco (Chapman) has uncovered a conspiracy that leads back to Samaritan's master plan for world domination. Even after being tortured and manipulated by Mr. Greer (John Nolan)'s simulations, Shaw (Sarah Shahi) believes there is still hope for her in reuniting with her friends after hearing Root (Amy Acker)'s message. With Samaritan's threat coming closer than ever, will Finch and Reese arm the Machine with weapons to fight back?

Before the 100th episode airs Tuesday, May 31 at 10pm on CBS, the Person of Interest star dishes on one of his favorite episodes as he celebrates the show's milestone event.

MStars News: Tell me about reaching to 100 episodes.

Kevin Chapman: It seems like a lot of work. I can't believe we've come 100 episodes! We've done 100 of these! [Laughs] It's been great! It's been phenomenal! It's been quite a ride! It's funny how we started out with the show, everyone thought it was far-fetched concept. Then the NSA came to light with the whole Snowden event. Everyone was like, "Oh wait a minute! Big Brother is watching!" It's been a lot of fun, the twists and turns, along the way have been really great!

MS: My personal favorite episode of yours was when Fusco had to rescue Victoria's Secret Angel Karolina Kurkova.

KC: [Laughs] Yeah that was a tough day at work! [Laughs] I said to my wife, "I have to protect a Victoria's Secret model at work today." She said, "What!?!" [Laughs] Karolina was great! We had a lot of fun together. That was a really fun episode! That was written by David Slack, who was one of my favorite writers on the show!

The 99th episode of Person of Interest airs Monday May 30th at 10pm. The 100th episode airs Tuesday May 31 at 10pm.
