There's some real musical talent in the Kardashian/Jenner family... and no, the spotlight is not turning towards Kim K or her rapper boyfriend Kanye West.
Brandon & Leah Jenner, the husband & wife singing/songwriting duo, have released their new EP entitled 'Cronies,' and the Kardashians & Jenners are turning to social media to make their brother and sister-in-law's talents known as Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall, & Kylie promote the adorable couple's "beachy" new music.
Brandon & Leah's album was released on April 9th. As stated on Brandon & Leah's website, "the five-song EP presents a modern, electro-pop-soul twist on the Southern California sound, and includes fan favorite "Showstopper," the popular theme song from E! Entertainment's "Kourtney & Kim Take Miami."
In addition to allowing "Showstopper" to become the theme song for the most recent season of the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" spinoff shows (which Brandon & Leah have made recurring appearances on), the Kardashian clan is also "blowing up" Twitter, Instagram, & Celebuzz to show their support.
Kim K tweeted today (with a picture of the 'Cronies' album cover):
"So proud of my brother Brandon & his wife Leah on the release of their new album! It's AMAZING check it out"
Brandon's half sister Kendall also gave her big bro a shout-out via Twitter:
"my bro and his wifey are so amazing! check out their new EP Brandon & Leah - Cronies."
Similarly, Khloe joined in with:
"I am so proud of Brandon and Leah!!!!! Their new album Cronies is now out on iTunes"
Along with the eldest sister Kourtney:
"Check out Brandon & Leah's EP"
The youngest Jenner, Kylie, also jumped on the bandwagon:
"Check out Brandon & Leah on iTunes! Amazing EP"
Chances are, fans who follow at least one or all 5 of the Kardashian/Jenner sisters (who each have at least 3 million followers a piece on Twitter), have clicked on the links promoting Brandon & Leah's music.
It pays off to be related to one of the most famous families of all time...
A little self promotion never hurt either. The duo posted on their personal website:
"Our EP, Cronies, is out today! We've put together a collection of songs that we loved making and we hope you'll fall in love with it too. The album is available for purchase in our online store, and on iTunes and Amazon starting today. You can also preview the EP on our YouTube channel. This music means so much to us, and has been such a journey for us to create. We can't wait for you to hear it and let us know what you think."
Fans apparently approve, as 'Cronies' has been climbing its way up the iTunes' pop charts and is currently ranking in at number 18 for the top pop albums.
Brandon Jenner is the son of Olympian Bruce Jenner (who is married to Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner). He married wife Leah Felder, who is the daughter of Eagles guitarist Don Felder, at the end of May last year during a quaint ceremony in Hawaii. The adorable couple have known each other since their Malibu middle school days and started playing music together in high school, according to a SparkLife interview (click for their full bio).
