While audiences in the west got a glimpse of Ryan Reynolds' new and awesome Marvel superhero, Wade Wilson/Deadpool, some countries across the globe haven't been so lucky. Accompanying a recent Japanese trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse, Deadpool himself showed up to leave a few comments, including numerous jokes at the expense of producing studio, 20th Century Fox -- and it's hilarious!

True to non-conforming form, the only superhero that knows he's in a comic book movie gave Japanese movie watchers a glimpse of what they've been missing for half a year. By the end of the last trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse (the one where we found out Hugh Jackman's Wolverine would be making an appearance), the Japanese version added a little glimpse into Wade Wilson's mind.

In a typically cheeky manner, the R-Rated superhero shared his list of "Five Things You May Have Missed In the X-Men Trailer" at about 2:31 in the clip, saying the after-credit scene on the trailer was there because "not everyone makes it to the end of Fox movies."

Deadpool's list of so-called hidden Easter Eggs included a reference to Wham's "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go," Canadian supergroup Rush, saying he's "twinsies" with Olivia Munn's Psylocke, the introduction of "a Japanese mutant with Ginsu knives coming out of his hands" --- and, of course, some blatant self-promotion of his own movie, which only reached the Asian country a few weeks back.

Deadpool, the first major superhero movie of 2016, was a surprise box office smash, making nearly $800 million in total grosses internationally, an amazing feat considering the movie's production budget was only $58 million. Of course, Fox quickly approved a sequel to the movie, which according to Collider, will begin shooting in the early months of 2017, though so far there's no official release date for the film.

Deadpool was the second time in the past year that Fox moved to re-introduced some of their Marvel characters. Last year, the studio released a new iteration of Fantastic Four, a franchise they'd already introduced a decade before; similarly, Deadpool/Wade Wilson had been part of the X-Men Origins: Wolverine film, in a portrayal that was downright hated for fans (as well as Reynolds) for years, finally leading to a stand-alone movie that was true to the character's form.

Deadpool, of course, exists within the same universe as the X-Men movies, so let's hope we get to see them all in a future film!
