Eddie Kaye Thomas Threatened with Knife by One Night Stand: 'American Pie' Star's 'Booty Call' Argument Results in Police Standoff, Tear Gas, Arrest

Several reports confirm that Eddie Kaye Thomas, star of the hilarious "American Pie" films (the guy who has a "thing" for Stifler's mom), was threatened with a knife by an unstable woman who turned out to be the actor's one night stand. As TMZ reports, the potentially violent incident resulted in an intense police standoff at the actor's LA home on Wednesday (April 17) which ended in tear gas and an arrest... we can't even make this stuff up. Apparently, the 32-year-old "American Dad!" star recently took a lady home with him one evening after they had just met at LA's popular Mel's Diner. The two engaged in an intimate one night stand, and Thomas probably figured that was that. Nope!

According to police reports, Thomas called the cops on Wednesday when the unidentified woman pulled a knife out on him. A SWAT team arrived at the scene and remained in a heated standoff with the troubled "booty call" for about two hours. Authorities eventually forced her out with tear gas... she was taken to a local hospital to get checked out and eventually booked for felony vandalism.

Thomas admitted that he'd just met the chick the night before, but didn't realize she was "armed and dangerous" when he took her home for the evening.

Oh, and she allegedly trashed his house before cops got involved.

Thomas' reps have yet to speak out on the rather bizarre incident...
