Britney Spears might be basking in the Glory of her new album coming out, but there is are some people that she definitely doesn't want to capitalize off her success. It seems that Lifetime TV is making a movie based on the "Make Me..." singer's life and career and she doesn't seem to be too happy about it.
Mrs. Spears issued a statement where she expressed her disapproval over the upcoming project.
"Britney Spears will not be contributing in any way, shape or form to the Lifetime biopic," a rep for the Pop icon explained according to PEOPLE, "nor does it have her blessing."
The network, which has aired other biopics including ones based on late stars Whitney Houston and Brittany Murphy, as well as on the cast of Saved by the Bell and Beverly Hills, 90210, sometimes has rubbed stars the wrong way with their portrayals on the small screen.
The Spears film is set to span two-hours on the cable network, and will chronicle Brit's rise to fame as well as some of her most notable public headlines. The TV movie will also hit on her very public split with Justin Timberlake, as well as her parents' divorce.
The movie has already cast it's "Lucky" star in Natasha Bassett, who we think shares a bit of a resemblance to Mrs. Spears in her Paper Magazine photo shoot back in February, which she shared with her fans on Instagram.

On the other hand, Spears doesn't seem to be letting the Lifetime movie get her down, as she is busy at work promoting her new music, including performances at the MTV Video Music Awards and the Apple Music Festival, which will celebrate it's 10th anniversary this September in London.
