The Rolling Stones recently had their live concert in Havana, Cuba that was also shown in cinemas September 23, 2016. This legendary rock n roll legends has been delivering music all around the world. This is their first time in Cuba.
According to Rolling Stones, it happened at Good Friday 25th of March 2016. This day wil be marked in rock n roll history for The Rollings Stones. Millions of audiences came in attendance for the band's first appearance in Cuba. Musicscreen brought the cinematography in play and was able to release a cinema version of the concert that played last September 23, 2016.
The concert was free attracting millions. This was also in the same week President Obama came to visit Cuba. This was a huge thing for Cuba at that time considering this music is banned from their country. Most of the concert goers had testimonials that it was just a dream to have The Rolling Stones to play live in Cuba. This rock n roll band made Cuban dreams come true.
From The Rolling Stones Havana Moon official website, the film was directed by Paul Dugdale. Paul also directed some other live concerts by famous artists like Adele and Coldplay. The Rolling Stones played most of their hits like "Jumpin Jack Flash, It's Only Rock n Roll, Gimme Shelter, Brown Sugar, Satisfaction" and lots more. All of their classic songs were received so well by the Cuban audience.
