Lindsay Lohan Loses Half Her Ring Finger in Turkish Boating Accident

Lindsay Lohan lost a part of her ring finger in a boating accident off the Turkish coast Sunday. The 30-year old actress tried to lift a heavy anchor on the ship when a section of the rope tied to the anchor wrapped around her finger. This caused the actress to fall into the water as she tried helplessly to untangle her hand from the anchor rope.

As she was being rescued, people in the boat scrambled to look for her finger. Lilo was taken to the emergency room to reattach the piece of her finger. The Daily Mail shared Lindsay's words as she posted a picture of her bandaged finger with a caption saying that she almost lost her finger from the anchor but thank goodness that it was found. She also said that it hurt so bad.

Lindsay was not just in Turkey for pleasure. The Telegraph wrote that she was also there for a humanitarian project in aid of Syrian refugees seeking help in the country. She visited refugees in a hospital in Istanbul as well as in temporary accommodations in the city. A particular family touched Lindsay's heart and this was the Husseins.

Lindsay shared her thoughts about the Hussein family especially her interaction with Heya in Instagram. She posted a cute picture of her and Heya and she wrote that she can't forget her. She was saddened that Heya lost her mother and she remembered that the girl held her tightly when she placed her in her lap. Heya was with her twin brother Leys when Lindsay visited their home in Istanbul.

Lindsay also said that she understood that she could do more for refugees and she encouraged people to support to Turkey and to Syrian refugees.

Lindsay is clear on her stand in helping Syrian refugees in Turkey. She once posted a picture of the Turkish flag captioned:  '#Start #helping the #refugees suffering in #Syria. As promised. #istanbul stop #massacreinaleppo.'

She was in Turkey with Abdurrahim Boynukalin, Turkey's deputy minister of youth and sports. She was also in the country to seal her new endorsement deal with Amit Akbulut, owner of the B4L company.

Lindsay Lohan just recently turned 30. She celebrated her birthday in Mykonos where she partied all night long in a club with her friends.
