Microsoft is not about to relinquish what it stands for, just because giants in the tech world think that it's a young entry into Hardware Production. A few days after the rumor broke out that Apple is about to release a MacBook pro 2016, Microsoft too has confirmed that it's in a bid to swing a heavy blow to all the tech Goliaths, with its new Microsoft Surface Book 2.
What's even more, the Surface Book 2 is expected to enter the market sooner, to challenge the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 2016. Trustable sources reveal that it might be released within the course of this month, October 2016 or at the close of the year
Tracing the development of the Surface book series, you realize that the initial model in this series, the Surface Book 1, hasn't even been in the market for a year now. It's clear that Microsoft wants to send a message to all those big time producers, Asus, Apple and HP, that they too are momentous.
Judging from some sentiments aired by iTechpost, the surface Book 2 is expected to rival directly with Apple's Mac Book Pro 2016. If this is true, the battle is a definite blood bath. Remember, when Microsoft challenges Apple, this isn't just about the hardware and specs race. These are two increasingly competitive Operating System Producers that want to exchange blows indirectly in the market, with the consumer in the middle of it all.
You expect that consumers will select the laptop with the OS that inspires them the most. Why? Because the hardware qualities between the two laptops will be pretty much alike. Techradar explained that although the Surface book 2 didn't arrive to the party early enough to fight the MacBook Air 2016, Microsoft might be hiding something up their sleeve. They intend to slaughter the Mac, once their Surface Book 2 hits the market.
Of course their most likely move is to sell this product at a cheaper price than the Mac. Even so the Surface Book 2 is expected to feature some specs that are quite similar to those in the MacBook Pro 2016. It will include a 4K resolution screen similar to the one on the rival. The Intel Kaby processor expected on this device also draws its inspiration from the MacBook Pro 2016.
We are optimistic that it will also have pen and touch support and a NVIDIA graphics chip. The Battery too will be upgraded from the current 4 hour battery on the Surface Book 1 to something above 8 hours. Unfortunately, it's likely that this laptop will lack and integrated HDMI port, but will have mini a display port and at least two USB 3.0 ports. Ofcourse this Laptop will use Microsoft's latest Operating System,Windows 10
