Bradley Cooper, Julian Edelman Visit Jeffrey Bauman [PHOTO]: Boston Marathon Bombing Victims Meet Movie Star and New England Patriot

The New England Patriots' wide receiver, Julian Edelman, posted a picture on his Twitter of him and Silver Linings Playbook actor Bradley Cooper visiting Boston Marathon bombing victim Jeffrey Bauman Jr. Cooper and Edelman were visiting numerous patients at one of the city's hospitals yesterday. Bauman, who lost both of his legs below the knees as a result of the explosion, played a big part in tracking down the Bombing suspects, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

As you can see, Bauman looks to be in good spirits and gives the "thumbs up" in this photo with the Academy Award nominee and the NFL star.

Despite just having undergone amputation surgery on both legs, 27-year-old Jeffrey Bauman Jr. woke up in his hospital bed and announced that he saw the bombers. His brother, Chris said, "He woke up under so much drugs, asked for a paper and pen and wrote, 'bag, saw the guy, looked right at me.'" This might have helped the FBI with identifying the two suspects. Jeffrey was at the marathon to cheer on his girlfriend.

As of now, one of the suspects, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, was killed in a shoot out while his younger brother, Dzhokhar, is still at large. The city of Boston is in a complete lockdown.

Bradley Cooper is in Boston currently filming the new David O. Russell film American Hustle. This movie is based on an ABSCAM sting operation from the '70s and '80s.  American Hustle also stars his Silver Linings Playbook co-stars Jennifer Lawrence and Robert De Niro. Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner, and Louis C.K. are also featured in the film.
