American Music Awards Nominees announced: See complete list

The Honors of announcing the nominations for the 2016 American Music Awards was given to Rachel Platen and Joe Jonas on Monday morning on Good Morning America.
Rachel Platten and Joe Jonas will not only reveal the news but also were both nominated in other categories. 

According to E-News, Drake got in a total of 13 nominations and set a new AMA record for most nominations in just 1 year, incomparable to Michael Jackson's 11 nominations back in 1984. 

There are 7 nominations for Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Adele got 5. The Chainsmokers which is not a shock for me they got 4 nominations and Also Beyonce got 4 nominations too.

On the other hand, ABC News said that on the same time in the announcements, Platten was shocked when she learned that she was also nominated this year for the category of "Favorite Artist in the Adult Contemporary" along with Meghan Trainor and Adele.
During the announcement Platten said, "I wish I'd played it a little cooler but I didn't like to play it cool at all." Joe Jonas got 2 nominations and he said "overwhelming."

The American Music Awards will be broadcasting live at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. That will be on November 20, Sunday at 8 p.m. on ABC.
