A romantic, breathtaking proposal greeted Counting On star Jinger Duggar from her long time fiancé Jeremy Vuolo. Jeremy asked Jinger's hand in marriage while they were in New York on top of the iconic Empire State Building at sunset.
Their NYC engagement, which was the highlight of the latest episode of "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" was a surprise for Jinger. Unknown to her, the entire Duggar clan knew about it especially her big sister Jessa Duggar Seewald and husband Ben Seewald.
Perez Hilton reported the beautiful event and said "say goodbye to side hugs!" This was the Duggar's rule for couples who are yet to marry. The report also said that what Jeremy did for Jinger was no ordinary casual courtship but something over the top.
The soccer star planned this for weeks and was able to pull off this romantic event with the help of members of the Duggar family and his teammates. But even with all the help, Jeremy needed to muster all his courage to propose. The rain even provided a soothing backdrop for the event.
Finally, viewers of the reality show were able to catch their breath when Jeremy knelt on one knee and proposed. Jinger was awestruck. To end the momentous event, the couple hugged face to face, signaling a new era in their relationship.
According to People, Jessa and Ben Seewald were already planning on giving the newly engaged couple courtship advice. Ben was reported to be reminding the two to get to know each other as a person and of course to save physical intimacy after their marriage.
Duggar patriarch Jim Bob and wife Michelle are surely planning on their own celebration as well. Of course they are possibly looking into giving Jinger and Jeremy some words of advice about their engagement and life as future husband and wife.
