'The Vampire Diaries' Season 8, E1 to 3: Stefan’s tireless search and Bonnie’s choice; Spoiler

Only a few days remain till "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 premieres and there are already reports as to what will happen on the first three initial episodes of the popular The CW series.  Synopsis of the first three episodes along with their respective titles were reported and here's what fans know so far.

"The Vampire Diaries" season 8 episode 1 entitled 'Hello Brother' features the series' major characters each with different issues to resolve. Damon Salvatore, played by Ian Somerhalder, is quite worried about the unidentified creature that could pose a huge threat. Stefan Salvatore, played by Paul Wesley, will be relentless in locating and saving his brother. Bonnie Bennett, played by Kat Graham, joins Stefan in his search even if deep inside she is starting to lose hope. Caroline and Alaric, played by Candice King and Matt Davis, are afraid that something is going to harm their family. The Inquisitr reported that Damon may have a huge appetite but the real monster could be Sybil as speculated by Enzo.

Episode 2 entitled 'Today Will Be Different' will revolve around Stefan's past. Someone from his past could be targeted next and it is not certain in the episode. What is known is that Stefan, Caroline and Bonnie will go to North Carolina; once they are there, Bonnie will try to save Enzo.

Episode 3 entitled 'You Decided That I Was Worth Saving,' will feature Enzo having more guts that Damon. In the past episodes, Damon will be seen simply going along with the force while the younger brother is trying hard to fight it off. On the other hand, Bonnie has to do a very crucial thing; she has to make a decision that will affect two of the most important people in her life. Alaric will study an artifact that will help save the two brothers.

Meanwhile, a report from Stopru mentioned that since season 8 will be the final season for "The Vampire Diaries" there will surely be room to settle conflicts before the series ends. For one, the report cited Alaric's situation considering that Caroline and Stefan has reconciled at the final episodes of season 7.

The report stated that now that Alaric lives out of town, he feels detached and lonely. This season could be the chance he is waiting for to really find love. Producers of the series explained that this season will be teeming with emotions; fans should realize that they are going to say goodbye to characters that they have grown to love for the past eight years.

Episode 1 of season 8 of ''The Vampire Diaries" will air on October 20 at The CW.
