Snoop Lion's full on rasta transformation (complete with new t-shirts, an iPad app and a documentary) has left many fans wondering what new Snoop will sound like. We've heard a few snippets here and there, be they all-in-the-family jams like "No Guns Allowed" or the Miley Cyrus duet "Ashtrays and Heartbreak", but we have yet to here the Dogg (sorry, Lion) in full. That all can change today as Reincarnated, Snoop's first album under the Lion moniker, is available to stream in full.
The whole thing is available to stream on Myspace, just in time for 4/20. Check out the album that reminded Idolator why Diplo might just be the greatest producer on the planet, to wit:
"What really grabbed us upon first listen, though, was the production, headed by executive producer Diplo. Save for a couple bangers, it's restrained and never boring; there's always some spooky guitar clanging or murky bass groove floating in and out of range. Major Lazer's Free the Universe showed Diplo is at the top of his party game, but he's also at the top of his step-out-the-way game, proving songs like "Climax" and "Jessica" were no fluke."
Be sure to re-listen to "Ashtrays and Heartbreak" which features Cyrus, whom Snoop called one of the "greatest musicians and personalities of all time."
Reincarnated drops on April 23.
