Reports confirm that "Fight Club" actor Edward Norton is just the latest celeb to get into a physical alternation with an overzealous photographer. Apparently, YouTube "star" Alain Becerra-Calderon approached Norton in NYC on Tuesday (April 23) with a camera phone, and was consquently shoved after the "American History X" actor exclaimed, "Why are you stalking me?" Calderson allegedly injured his middle finger during the altercation and later informed the police - the incident's currently being classified as harassment.
According to Calderson, he approached the uber-private "Bourne Identity" star on the streets of New York on Tuesday and asked, "I got a quick question. People say you look like me. Is that true?" In response, Norton allegedly shoved Calderson's camera phone out of the way and said, "Why are you stalking me?"
That's when Calderson went to the cops. He told authorities that after the violent interactions, he was forced to seek treatment at the Beth Israel Hospital after the altercation took place. Apparently, Norton's shove caused "tissue contusion" on the amateur photog's middle finger. A police spokesperson told E! Online, "He went to the hospital claiming hand pain. It was classified as harassment." Calderson explained the incident as "very, very scary." He claims Norton should "learn how to control his temper." He also added, "I asked if I could ask a question, and he grabbed my phone."
Police closed the investigation since no one else witnessed the "fight." Still, the case was referred to civil court. It remains unknown if Calderson actually filed a lawsuit - Norton's reps have yet to comment on the matter.
