Looks like former Hollywood power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt would have to follow temporary family decision plan of the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services as investigations of alleged child abuse continues.
Brad Pitt is still undergoing investigations after the actor allegedly got physically and verbally abusive towards one of their six children on their private jet. The family was flying home on September 14 when the incident happened; Angelina Jolie filed for a divorce and full custody of all their six children on September 19.
People reported Jolie and Pitt agreed to continue the voluntary parenting plan which includes counseling and visitation rights for Brad. A source said that what investigators are looking for is a history or a pattern of abusive behavior. Aside from the actual incident that happened on September 14, incidents surrounding this and any relevant history are being considered. Meanwhile, a legal source said that at this time, things are in a "holding pattern" but are nearing conclusion. DCFS investigations regarding these matters are open-ended, says a source.
Included in the temporary plan is for Jolie and Pitt to undergo individual counseling as a family and with their kids. The actor was able to visit his children twice and was accompanied by a therapist which was also according to the temporary plan.
On the other hand, The Hollywood Gossip reported that the investigation may not just be about Brad Pitt. Reports said that the investigation has expanded to include Pitt and Jolie's interactions with each other that could be witnessed by one of their kids.
During the first meeting of Brad and his kids, it was reported that Maddox did not want to meet his dad. The 15-year-old ended up staying with his mother while the rest of his siblings spent a few hours with their father. A report added that the initial visitation did not last long because Maddox was not there.
Angelina Jolie cited irreconcilable differences as she filed for divorce. It was also previously reported that the "Tomb Raider" actress had concerns over her ex's parenting techniques which also prompted the divorce.
