The Jonas Brothers had 30-minute sit-down with dozens of fans including the Columbia University Cheerleaders, in which they chatted about their upcoming tour and new album. Kevin and Nick described the album process after three years of solo work, admitting to being their own critics and redoing the album to their liking.
"It wasn't right where we wanted it to be," Kevin Jonas told MTV. "It wasn't progressive enough. I think this record we wanted to take the time needed."
"I think it was a collective decision. We came to a place where we had sort of done our individual projects, and it felt like we were in a place where we were ready to create again and come back with some different inspirations," Nick said.
With the album almost ready and their single "Poms Poms" receiving great reviews, the Brothers are excited to give the fans more. "We're very proud of the result and excited for fans to hear the rest of the record besides 'Pom Poms,' Nick said.
