Gundam.info announced that Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz can now be viewed from their website. The sequel to 1995's Gundam Wing, Endless Waltz will be available for free, but only for a limited time period.

This Original Video Animation (or OVA), originally released as three 25-minute episodes in 1997, was re-released in 1998 as a 90-minute theatrical movie, according to Anime News Network. Directed by Yasunao Aoki, it follows the events after the TV series, wherein the war between Earth and the space colonies have ended, and Operation Meteor was halted. With peace among the nations, most of the Gundam pilots feel no need for their mobile suits, and decide to send them to the sun.

Unfortunately, a rebellion in a space colony threatens the peace. Relena Darlian, a high-ranking official for the newly-formed Earth Sphere United Nation (or ESUN), is kidnapped by the rebels, with plans of going through with Operation Meteor. Heero and the other Gundam pilots must take arms once again, and by reclaiming their Gundams before hitting the sun, they fight to defeat the rebellion and put an end to Operation Meteor once and for all. Several characters who were previously their opponents would be working with them as well to combat the threat.

One of the striking differences between the TV series and the movie was the redesigns the Gundams received for Endless Waltz. Each of the five main mobile suits received massive overhauls, making its main feature truly stand out. From the more dragon-like look of Wufei's Altron Gundam, the demonic feel of Deathsythe Hell piloted by Duo Maxwell, the additional firepower added to Trowa Barton's Heavyarms, the beefed-up Sandrock of Quatre Winner, to the angelic wings of Heero Yuy's Wing Zero, it definitely gives the Gundams a stronger and more awesome look.

The Gundam Wing TV series was one of the early spin-offs of the original Gundam franchise. As Forbes states, the show was, for most Westerners, their first taste of the Gundam universe. Its warm acceptance by the Western audiences allowed the franchise, which started with Mobile Suit Gundam on 1979, became the platform for it to penetrate the market that is still active up to this day.

The website's re-release of the movie will be both dubbed and subbed in English. The duration of its availability is still undisclosed by the website.
