Jay-Z, Kanye West Beef Over: Ye and Jigga Hug It Out After 'Suit And Tie' Diss, Rapper Takes Kim Kardashian Baby Shopping In SoHo

All is apparently well in the world of Roc-A-Fella Records and G.O.O.D. Music. Though Jay-Z and Kanye West may have had tension after Ye's "Suit and Tie" rant a few months back, they were seen today hugging it out in New York.

At a London concert in February, West told the crowd "I ain't f**king with that Suit & Tie." This led to rumors of animosity between the two performers. However, today they were all smiles when they met up in New York.

It was unlikely that any beef between Jay-Z and Kanye West would last as the two are so entwined in each other's lives and careers. Kanye West produced beats for some of Jigga's best songs ("Izzo (H.O.V.A.)", "Lucifer") before Jay gave him a shot as a rapper. HOV frequently appears on Ye's G.O.O.D. Music tracks and the duo released the highly anticipated Watch The Throne album together last year.

The case could easily be made that Kanye owes Mr. Carter his career and Jay owes Kanye his late-era continued relevance.

In other Kanye news, the trip to New York is the first non-doctor's appointment related trip stateside for West since February. Yeezy has been hard at work on his as-yet untitled new album in Paris and has rarely left since Fashion Week. So far, Kanye has recorded tracks with Chief Keef and Daft Punk.

"It was very raw: he was rapping - kind of screaming primally, actually," Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk said in an interview with Rolling Stone. "Kanye doesn't give a f*ck."

Reportedly, Kanye took Kim Kardashian baby shopping in SoHo.

Kim Kardashian has floated the idea of having the baby in Paris, though nothing, not even the due date, is confirmed.

Kanye is loving Paris and is having a great time there working on his album," an insider told Page Six. "He'd like to move there."
