But there's news that Theo James and Shailene Woodley are actually to be blamed for the movie's cancellation after all. According to GameNGuide, James and Woodley have become too close for comfort. The "Fault in Our Stars" actress has developed a very personal relationship with her co-star that he and longtime sweetheart Ruth Kearney have begun to fight over the movie. It is said that his fiancé is asking him to avoid seeing Woodley and to stop doing the movie altogether.

And it looks like Ruth is getting what she wished for. Lionsgate has called off "Divergent Series: Ascendant" last week. Meanwhile, Shailene Woodley has announced her disapproval of the producer's decision and said that she won't be a part of the TV movie at all.
