NBA Trade rumors: Los Angeles Lakers swap Jahlil Okafor for Jordan Clarkson?

Okafor has been in the trade rumors during the off season and it appears that the rumors of his trade as still following up, Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers have been talked about in many trades for the past months.

Reports have also stated that they might just have a deal that will blow up with Jahlil Okafor and Jordan Clarkson, following Okafor is said to be his teammate Nerlens Noel. As for Clarkson he has proved that he belongs to the big league but he is also on the list for trade deals as per Headlines and Global News.

Los Angeles Lakers are looking forward to rebuild their team as they want to have a more balanced roster, if the deal goes off by bringing Okafor into their team it is sure to increase their offensive and defensive skills. It seems that the Lakers want to provide a tough competition to other teams in the NBA league as reported on Mobile & Apps.

Okafor might just land up with the Lakers comprising of small forward Brandon Ingram, power forward Julius Randle and the point guard D'Angelo Russell. The Philadelphia 76ers are certainly looking for a strong ball handler and Jordan might be exactly the kind of guy they need to add on their roster.

Both teams need a change and it appears that Okafor and Jordan will fit in place exactly if the trade is complete, Clarkson's potential can be used to the maximum if he is moved to the Philadelphia 76ers. However, there is a catch and the deal needs to wait until December 15, this is because Clarkson recently signed a $50 million four year contract with the Lakers.

Sergio Rodriguez is also said to be in the trade deal along with Okafor and Jordan, nothing has been confirmed till now but it seems that the Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers might end up swapping Okafor and Clarkson.
