Fresh from her Las Vegas shows and after getting her first ep "Perfectly Imperfect," Grace VanderWaal will be at the 33rd annual Tree Lighting at The Seaport on November 29. The 12-year old "America's Got Talent" winner will be with other performers like Ronnie Spector, Darlene Love, Nicole Atkins and Lesley Gore. The event will begin at exactly 6:30 p.m.
Brooklyn Vegan was one of the first to report Grace's guest appearance at the tree lighting event. The report also recalled how the young singer and musician was able to capture the hearts of AGT judges especially Simon Cowell. Simon called Grace "the next Taylor Swift."
Aside from her appearance at the Seaport, Grace VanderWaal will also be at Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Grace will be performing her song "I Don't Know My Name" which is the song that made her win at the AGT.
Meanwhile, Teen Vogue reported Grace's rise to fame and how she responds to fans who adore her and her music. As a sign of affection, Grace is getting too many gifts from fans. She once said that she wants fans to stop sending her ukuleles saying that she literally don't have room for these anymore.
Grace has expressed her appreciation for her fans through her Twitter account. She actually posts several times a day to update followers of her shows, latest guest appearances and just random thoughts that run through her head like a typical teenage girl. Grace once posted about her new dog Frankenstein or "Frankie" with a picture of her cuddling her new pet.
She once posted a cute handmade doll made by fan that looks exactly like her. She also included all the artworks sent to her by fans in her "I Don't Know My Name" lyric video which is now available online. Her ep "Perfectly Imperfect" is from Columbia Records and will be out on December 2 but pre-orders are available now.
