'Thor: The Dark World' TEASER TRAILER [VIDEO] Plot Synopsis, Loki Returns: Natalie Portman, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddelston [PHOTOS]

The next film from the Marvel Universe will be Iron Man 3 but soon after we get to see the next chapter in the thunder god's story with Thor: The Dark World. A lot of hype has been building around "Thor 2" ever since the success of The Avengers. The film's antagonist was Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Thor's brother. So do we get to see the mischievous deity return to torment his brother? Also, Natalie Portman returns as Jane Foster, the love interest opposite Chris Hemsworth after almost passing on the reprisal role.

Though Loki is seen in this teaser, the main antagonist of this new film is Malekith, portrayed by Chris Eccleston. This villain is trying to send the universe "back into the darkness." We also get to see the other deities in Asgard as Thor brings Jane to his realm. Anthony Hopkins, Rene Russo, Idris Elba, and Jaimie Alexander are all back, reprising their roles.

So with this new enemy asking Thor "What will you sacrifice for what you believe?" who will Thor turn to for assistance. If you guessed Loki, then you are absolutely right. What a great twist!
