Plantronics Backbeat Pro 2 Release Date & Price;Next Gen’s Wireless Noise-Cancelling Headphone

Plantronics Backbeat Pro 2 returns with the updated pair of full-sized wireless noise-cancelling headphone. For tech enthusiasts, here is the latest update with the Plantronics Backbeat Pro 2 price and specs.

According to Mashable, the first Plantronics Backbeat Pro released two years ago from the best-known company for Bluetooth headsets. Now, two years later, Plantronics returns with the Backbeat 2 with significant upgrades from the Backbeat Pro.

This wireless noise-cancelling headphone was already released last October 18, 2016, at the price of $200 for the regular headphone. While, the special edition model comes with a hard carrying case costs $50 more and is available in Amazon store, as per Cnet.

Reports confirm that this new Plantronics Backbeat Pro 2 is the next generation of wireless noise-cancelling headphones for its extraordinary features. To start with, its battery life is said to be healthy up to 24 hours when used for music playback at moderate volume levels. Most notable is when it is used outside, it will make the ears steamy on warmer days.

Just like any Plantronics product, the Backbeat Pro 2 is typically designed to receive calls. Similarly, it works well as a headset, with a sidetone feature, wherein, own voice can be heard while talking.

As compared to the first Plantronics Pro, Plantronics BackBeat Pro 2 is 35 percent smaller and is 15 percent lighter than the previous generation model. Plus, it has newly designed earcups for better ergonomics on the ear, a flexible ear cup mount, headband and yoke for distributing weight evenly.

Furthermore, the Plantronics BackBeat Pro 2 has smart sensors that automatically pause or resume music as the headphone is removed or put back to the head, which is not present with conventional headphones. It even connects to two devices at once or switches between them quickly.

The microphone is built-in for phone call purposes making it sturdy as before and has foldable ear cups and protective sleeve for traveling. Another good thing is, if its left by mistake, it hibernates for up to six months.

The Plantronics BackBeat Pro 2 and the Special Edition BackBeat Pro 2 SE are surely the next generation's wireless noise-cancelling headphones for its friendly features. It had also been available in Australia the last mid-November at the price of AU$350.
