Johnny Depp & Amber Heard Divorce Update: Depp Uses Amber's Charity to Cut His Taxes?

The divorce settlement of the ex-couple, Amber Heard, and Johnny Depp is heading to its final chapter. Amber Heard decided to file for divorce just after 3 days that Johnny's mom died. The reason for filing the divorce is due to an alleged domestic violence, the 30-year-old actress can't take it anymore as she already had to wear the bruises that Johnny gave him.

According to Pierce O'Donnell, lawyer of Amber Heard, stated that the parties are near to finalize the process of their settlement agreements as it is about to submit to the court next week but the lawyer further stated that the two hasn't signed the final documents even though they are almost done with the divorce issue, People has reported.  

In August , Johnny Depp's divorce agreement with Amber Heard, the "Pirate of Carribean" star agreed in the amount of $7 million but has already donated the $200,000 directly to Amber's chosen charities which are the Children's Hospital in Los Angeles and American Civil Liberties Union but one of the legal team members of Amber rejected Depp's payment and been claiming that the actor was just using the donation as an excuse to get a cut from the tax.

According to ET, the actress is set to receive $6.8 million and Johnny is expected to give for the next 12 months for the settlement. According to a representative of Amber, stated in a statement if ever Johnny wishes to change any of the settle agreement, they must insist that he honor the full amount of $14 million by donating it to charity after accounting for his tax deduction that is equal to $7 million payment obligation to Amber Heard.

The couple was got married last year in February after they have met on the set of the Rum Diary back in 2011 and initially has kept their romance a secret but after several months they become more open. Amber then request for a temporary restraining order and was granted in May after she  allegedly received physical and verbal abuse from the 52-year-old actor throughout their relationship.
