Samsung Galaxy S8 Leaks & Rumors: Upcoming Device To Have 8GB RAM, 6-Inch Display And More

Samsung Galaxy S8 is the flagship for 2017. For Samsung this phone needs to deliver at all costs. However, Leaks around the specs of the upcoming Galaxy S8 series have been circulating online for some time now. From 8GB RAM to 6-inch broad display, here is a look at roundup rumors of the upcoming gadget.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 will picking up a new tool named Bixby, a voice-powered digital assistant that too in the lines of Siri and Google Assistant. Viv Labs is the company that is behind the technology, and Samsung recently acquired it, so it this calculation makes sense for the South Koreans to stake its claim in this space.

Many users are buying Samsung's Note series just for the antastic S-Pen stylus and the features that will go along with it. However it is going to be several months before the next Note will go on sale.

Samsung will be releasing the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus in just a couple of months. According to a sketchy report out of China, the company will also offer an S-Pen accessory for the device, reports Forbes.

According to Ice Universe, in a report noted by MySmartPrice, rumors on Weibo state that the S8 will have 8GB RAM made using Samsung's own 10nm fabrication technology. Report also suggests that Samsung Galaxy S8 will come with the company's UFS 2.1 flash storage. However, leaks which are coming from Weibo should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Samsung has given enough indications that it will introduce a new Virtual Assistant in its upcoming Galaxy S8 series. Rumors say that Samsung could also add a dedicated button to launch this virtual assistant.

Galaxy S8 will be having a 13-megapixel rear camera along with another 12-megapixel camera on the back. However, there are other reports suggesting Samsung may skip the dual camera trend altogether. This year, the Galaxy S8 will come with Exynos 8895 processor, according to a report on SamMobile.

The rest of features which are expected are the fingerprint sensor, water and dust resistance capabilities, and a 4,200mAh battery with wireless charging capabilities. The Galaxy S8 is also expected to run on Android Nougat 7.1.1 out-of-the-box.

Samsung usually follows the same launch cycle every year and introduces the new flagship at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona in February end, so this year also the high end device is expected to launch in the first half of 2017

As these are all rumors, there is no official word from the company or any confirmation about the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus.
