The US based game developer Volve has announced up to 80 % of discount for game lovers as a New Year gift. Popular games like Rocket league, Division, No Man's Sky and more are now on sale from the last eve of December 2016. The top 100 most played and downloaded games including steam games are on sale from Volve.

This well-known Gaming platform "Steam" announced the sale on its 100 bestselling revenue giants as a New Year gift to customers and game lovers worldwide. Counter strike: Global offensive, grand theft auto V, Goat simulator, the Walking Dead, Euro Truck simulator 2 including dozens of other bestselling games are now cheaper than ever.

As another first, the Volve announced the first ever Steam awards in 2016 for 12 different categories. The awards were decided on the basis of online fans voting.

The sale started on December 22, 2016 and will last till 2^nd January 2017. Volve has divided the discounted games into 04 categories as Platinum, Gold. Silver and Bronze as reported by Steam Power

Platinum includes 12 games including Total War (Warhammer), Counter Strike (Global Offensive), Rocket League and Grand Theft.

According to Tech Times, There are 12 games in the Gold category including Arma 3, H1Z1 King of the Kill, Doom, Team Fortress and Warframe.

Category Silver includes 16 games including watchdog 2, hearts of iron, War thunder, Far cry primal, Rust, Planet Coaster and Smite.

Bronze category has 60 games listed as Dishonored, Squad, Mafia III, Astroneer, Factorio, Dayz, under Tail, Forest, Rimrworld, Battlerite, 7 days to die, Hitman, Grim Dawn and Crusader King II.

The rate of discount is different for different games ranging from 33 percent to 80 percent. Some games are totally free and can be played online.

Still undisclosed by Volve but it is believed by financial and gaming experts that these games have earned huge revenue for the American gaming platform Volve and its subsidiary Steam.
