NVIDIA is planning to make a big announcement at this year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which is going to be happening at Las Vegas. Different rumors say that it is likely to be the launch event for the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics card, as well as the introduction of the GeForce Club Elite.
However this is not just another unfounded rumor because several national domains that are belonging to NVIDIA are currently displaying a clock counting down in addition to frequent teaser posters, on Nvidia's official website.
NVIDIA's release of next generation of GPU architecture is still far away, but the most awaited NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti is expected to be the go-to 4K GPU after its launching for this year.
The upcoming GPU will lower the price point of the currently GP102-based GTX Titan X mainly because of the decrease in CUDA cores from 3584 to 3328.
Just like Titan X, NVIDIA's upcoming graphics card will also be based on GP102, as noted by WCCFTech. But while GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is considered to be a side-shoot of NVIDIA's top two graphics cards. The latest graphics card is also believed to have a better balance when it comes to using its full potential.

NVIDIA had already onfirmed the existence of the GTX 1080 Ti when they listed a job posting that revealed that Club GeForce Elite will initially prioritize GTX 980 Ti owners to upgrade to GTX 1080 Ti.
Club GeForce Elite is NVIDIA's new service can simply be called a sort of loyalty club with the following set of perks for members:
