The speculation have been going on for weeks. Nevertheless, fans of Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton were saddened when their split was announced. One day after Amanda finally admitted their separation, Josh also confirmed that this was true.

In a heart wrenching statement, Murray told Us Weekly that he was no longer engaged. Added to his anguish is the death of his beloved pet dog Sabel and his uncle. He felt emotionally drained. As for their relationship, he said it simply wasn't working. Despite his moving across the country and loving her and her family. They did not grow as a couple and this left him frustrated.

Furthermore, Murray said they wanted similar things in life, but disagrees on other important matters as well. He will always love her and her kids. They will always have a special place in his heart. He was then appealing to everyone to respect their relationship and pray for their happiness. She wishes nothing but the best for Stanton because she deserves it.

Apparently, Amanda felt the same way about Murray. She told People that she wishes him the best. But she agreed they were two people too different from each other. Stanton said there are some things in a relationship that can be worked on, nobody's perfect. However, there are also things that's impossible to work on no matter what.

The Bachelor In Paradise couple broke up in December. This was a couple of months after they got engaged in the show. They said they had issues making it out in the 'real world'. The two went on and off until finally calling things off for good. Their last major fight happened at a Jingle Ball concert. Insiders said that Murray accused Stanton about not drinking during a vacation. While other sources say the fight broke off when Stanton uttered something nasty to Murray.
