World-renowned street magician and endurance artist David Blaine almost killed himself again in another daring stunt.

The death-defying stunt first aired in November 2016 as part of his ABC special "Beyond Magic" but has been going viral this week. It aired on British television channel E4 on January 7 and has horrified TV audience when the bullet-catching trick has gone terribly wrong.

Blaine's lone rifle shot was supposed to be caught by a metal cup in his mouth. Unfortunately, the cup slipped of the grooves that attached it to a special gum shield, and Blaine nearly blew his head clear off. The bullet broke through the contraption and when the on-site medic checked, Blaine's throat had a laceration, as reported by Yahoo!.

You can watch the video below. But a reminder for all, those who are watching this - specially the kids out there - DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME! This is a stunt made by professionals.

In this video uploaded by user GadeVids on YouTube, Blaine said that when the bullet struck the cup, there was a high-pitched ringing in his ear and felt an impact in the back of his throat. He added that he was sure the bullet "went through" his head and that he was "dead". He then suddenly became aware of the pain and that it brought him back and at that moment, he realized that the mouthguard had shattered again and he was "alive".

The video then shows him a University Medical Center of Southern Nevada where one of his friends who assisted in the act promised never to participate in the stunt again. Blain then insists in the video clip "We're going to do it right. That's the end of the story."
