Brilliant comedians are those who can stand their ground even when something terrible goes wrong. That was exactly what Jimmy Fallon had to do during a technical glitch at the Golden Globes and there was no teleprompter to help him out during his opening monologue. Good thing it didn't take forever to fix, allowing the late night show host to continue with his original plan: to take a dig at president-elect Donald Trump.

But the funny man was obviously stunned and flustered when he was forced to improvise. When the teleprompter finally got fixed he said he'll make up his monologue. They're here and this is just what happens at the Golden Globes. Everyone already had their Golden Globes moment, per Fox News.

Barely surviving by the skin of his teeth, he welcomed the audience to the show, saying that it's one of the few places that remain wherein America will still honor the popular vote. He went off with the nominees and ended up coming Trump to one of the Game of Thrones characters. HBO's show has lots of twists, and many people wonder what would have happened if King Joffrey didn't die. He said in 12 days America's going to find out, pertaining to the January 20 presidential inauguration.

Hammering Down Performers

Fallon didn't stop there. He also took a dig at Trump's difficulty getting performers to show up for the inaugural ball. He said that the movie Florence Foster Jenkins has been nominated. Its character was dubbed as the world's worst opera singer. But even she declined the invitation to perform at Donald Trump's inauguration per the Business Insider.

Some people think that this was Jimmy Fallon's way of making up for his September 2016 interview with Trump on his show. Basing from the audience reaction, looks like he more than made up for it.
