The Nintendo Classic Mini is one of the most sought-out consoles by Nintendo fans all around the world right now. The stocks are very limited and there is a big demand for this product, so it is really expected that you will rarely see this console in the stores. It consists of 30 classic Nintendo Entertainment System games such as Legend of Zelda and Super Mario Bros.

If you ask the fans of Nintendo classic games, 30 games would surely not suffice to ease the Nostalgia. It would be better if we can add other games in the Nintendo Classic Mini, and that's why a group of hackers cracked the code of the console and added some games inside the console's memory. According to Geek, some of the games added are River City RansomBattletoadsMetal GearDarkwing DuckBucky O'Hare, and more.

Not only are the hackers able to add games in their Nintendo Classic Mini, they also discovered a code inside the console that is written by Nintendo. The programmer used the Pseudonym "Hanafuda Captain". The usage of Hanafuda Captain is said to honor Hanafuda cards which is the first product of Nintendo before it became a video game company.

Twitter User bakueikozo posted on his twitter account the whole part of the code and its translation.

"This is the Hanafuda Captain speaking. Launching emulation in 3...2...1. Many efforts, tears and countless hours have been put into this jewel. So, please keep this place tidied up and don't break everything! Cheers, the Hanafuda Captain."

It seems that Nintendo knew that the NES Classic Mini would be hacked anyway, and in a very short time too. The hackers successfully hacked the console two months after its release. However, the group of hackers did complicated steps to successfully hack the console. Have a mistake while trying to hack the console may brick it and render it useless. Even though the group of hackers released an easier list of steps, they still warn other hackers to hack at their own risk, given the fact that the console is very rare and not cheap.
