The "How I Meet Your Mother" star split his pants on Monday during a singing battle at "The Late Late Show" with James Corden. An unfortunate event but lead it to amazing performances by the two awarded hosts.

Corden's "Broadway Riff-Off" segment hosted next to Neil this time, apparently came with a wardrobe malfunction. During commercial breaks, Patrick confessed to Corden that he split his pants when he'd knelt while singing "Sugar Daddy" from "Hedwig and angry inch".

"I had a nice wardrobe malfunction, split my pants from my a** to my knee and I left it all on the stage for you," the actor said according to Daily Mail.

Amid the incident, they continued their riff-off challenge. Harris determined to keep on Corden's bragging of major talent after he won a Tony Award for a "non-singing role". The guest mocked the Late Late Show host until the end.

After Patrick initially said, "We have a score to settle, and it's about Broadway."

Corden started his riff-off on Patrick with "Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat" by "Guys and Dolls", probably an over rehearsal number. When NPH responded with "a powerhouse rendition of Gypsy's Everything's Coming Up Roses," shares E online News .

Harris sang most of Broadways plays next to James, with hits like "My Own" from Les Misérables, Chicago "All That Jazz" and "My Shot" from the musical Hamilton.

For the Riff-off moment joined as well the Filarmonic, an acapella group that gave the musical background to the duet, relates US hellomagazine.

Even the show would not be a theater tunes riff-off, initially was adjusted to present a more stand-up comedy segment. Corden accepted Harris's contest request.

James ends up saying to Patrick that he won on this Broadway segment, assuring that the Tony awarded host and actor truly were giving his best to win, even he needs now new pants.
