It's just a few weeks ago since Houston Rockets beat Minnesota Timberwolves. Rockets gave Timberwolves an overtime home loss with score of 111-109. This lost; with 12 other losses from Minnesota this season buried the team further down the standings.

Meanwhile, Houston Rockets are marching with their 9 win-streak and was ready to take their tenth win to complete the numbers. But it seems like once is enough for Minnesota as they ended the Rockets' winning streak in their game today with 14 point lead and 119-105 final score.

As per Fox Sports, even without Zach Lavine in their startup, the Timberwolves are able to defeat the Rockets before they even reach their tenth winning streak of the season. Because of the floor general Ricky Rubio's great assists and Andrew Wiggins' scorching performance in the first quarter, they owned the quarter with 28-17 lead. Harden scored only four points and four assists this quarter.

According to Sportsnet, signs of Rocket's fatigue after playing five games in the span of seven nights are starting to show. Their 3 pointers ended with first quarter 0- for -7 from beyong the arc and came up empty on multiple open look s all night.

"We missed a lot of uncharacteristic shots," Rockets forward Ryan Anderson said. "We normally get stops and it fuels our offence on the other side, but you know, they did a great job of being aggressive on us."

On third quarter, Rockets started to climb again and managed to go on top with 69-68 score after Anderson's three point shot. Wolves never let the Rocket go further in the following quarter as they went all out with a 17-4 run which is highlighted by Towns' thunderous dunk.

Even though Rockets are defeated, there is no doubt that James Harden once again showed himself as one of the most dominant offensive players of NBA by scoring 30 points and 10 assists. "He's tough because he does everything," Minnesota coach Tom Thibodeau said. "You're not going to be able to stop a guy like that. You have to make him work, and I thought our guys did that."
