Despite on-going custody battle, Angelina Jolie rents another Malibu house for $35,000 a month

Following a rough divorce from ex-husband, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie has just rented a house in Malibu. It's reported to be worth $35,000 a month.

The "Maleficent" actress already has one Malibu house, but she rented another one, just a mile away, for her and her six children. The actress is still going through the divorce and custody battle with "World War Z" actor, Brad Pitt.

Us Weekly reported that the new Malibu house has six bedrooms and five bathrooms. It has 5,097 square feet of land, its own pool, a tennis court, a guest house, and its very own beach.

The new dwelling isn't so far from her first Malibu house. In fact, Jolie's kids spend a lot of time between the two houses. There is also a full-time staff that stays at the second home for when the family visits.

According to Wonderwall, Jolie spends a lot more time at her first house. But that hasn't stopped the actress from renting places for her family to enjoy. Her children, Maddox (15), Pax (13), Zahara (12), Shiloh (10), and twins Knox and Vivienne (8) have not been in the spotlight after her divorce with Brad Pitt.

Couple will keep documents confidential

Just this Monday, the couple had released official statements saying that they will be keeping their problems out of the public eye. They will seek out a private judge and will keep all agreements and documents confidential.

Prior to the couple's shocking recent separation, Jolie and Pitt had lived together with their children in Los Angeles. They stayed at the actor's house, which he had bought before he and Jolie started dating.

Despite Jolie purchasing new homes for a new life without Pitt, the children still spend some time with the "Fight Club" actor. In fact, the children spent some quality time with him during New Year's Eve in Colorado. The A-list actor and actress are determined to present a united front for their children, in spite of their broken marriage.
