Being an actor is tough work and this is especially true for British actor Jamie Dornan who is set to take his second spin at playing billionaire Christian Grey in the sequel of the 2016 hit "Fifty Shades of Grey."

In an interview with the Irish Mirror, the actor admitted that he has nothing in common with his character, who gained popularity with the literary set as the main character of EL James' "Fifty Shades of Grey" trilogy.

The billionaire is known for his insatiable and perverse sexual inclinations while Dornan, who is married to Amelia Warner in real life, said he is more conservative compared to his big screen counterpart.

For one, the actor shared that he would not even consider having a red room like Grey's where he realizes his sexual fantasies.

In terms of personality, the actor shared that he and Christian are also as different as night and day. While Christian has a tendency to be uptight and uncompromising, Dornan is more laid back. "He needs to relax a bit," he said.

Their tastes in women are also quite different. While Christian prefers the submissive type like Ana , Dornan is more inclined towards women who are comfortable with themselves and embrace their own imperfections.

In the new movie "Fifty Shades Darker," Dornan shared that audiences will be introduced to a new version of Christian Grey.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan, Dornan revealed that the new and improved Christian Grey will be more open to compromise and "alter himself for the good of the woman he loves." He credited the change to character of Ana Steele, played by Dakota Johnson.

The actor, in an interview with Details Magazine, however, shared one fear that he had about playing the role, and that is to get murdered by fans who are still unhappy over his casting for the role until now.

"I fear I'll get murdered, like John Lennon, by one of those mad fans at the premiere. Because a lot of people are very angry that I'm playing this character. And I'm a father now, and a husband. I don't want to die yet," he said.

"Fifty Shades Darker," the second part of the trilogy will see its movie version open in theaters this year while the concluding installment, "Fifty Shades Freed" is set for a 2018 playdate.
