Robin Thicke-Paula Patton Child Custody Battle Update: Patton Filed Report About Son Abused

Robin Thicke is in the news again, not for a second hit song but for the custody battle of his six-year-old son. His ex-wife and actress Paula Patton accused him of physical abuse against their son Julian.

The initial allegation came by a conversation with Julian and his school teacher. Julian said in school that his father (Robin Thicke) "spanked" and "punched" him hard several times.  Upon learning this, the institution rep reported the case to Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services on January 3.

Patton said in the legal papers that "Julian is scared of you." The actress added that she even witnessed similar episodes of Thicke's bad behavior towards their son.  Patton filed a legal statement that declares Thicke can only see Julian with supervised visits on daytime, according to The Sun UK.

The restraining order didn't go well for Patton since it was denied. Thicke's part of the story says, her ex-wife went with that order after not being invited to his father's funeral. He claimed she is always rude and often make bad comments about his father.

For Thicke, Paula's final declaration was exaggerated. In the legal documents, the singer explained "On a very rare occasion and only as a last resort, I will use light spanking, but it is consistent with the law -- open hand on the butt. This is the type of discipline to which Paula and I agreed during our marriage," shares TMZ News.

Patton provided more upsetting stories to the legal report. She quoted the moments that his ex-husband, Thicke smoked marijuana in front of Julian. One time, he went to Julian's graduation day drunk in the morning as well as in the church ceremony.

Robin Thicke and Paula Patton had known each other from high school and got married in 2005. Later she filed for divorce and they finally ended their relationship in 2014, assured Billboard. Thicke's chaotic private life is in the eye of tabloids and hopefully, all goes well for the two Hollywood celebrities.
