Pokemon fan Albert Choi, a 20 year old designer who is currently in Vancouver cannot wait to see what will be the new features of the Pokemon GO game. The game will release an update in the future that is expected to include the Gen 2 Pokemon from Johto region.
And to scratch the itch, Choi created some pictures that depicts what he thinks will come on Pokemon Go. The Pokemon Hub reported that these works are all fictional and is only the artist manifestation of Choi's suggestion.
POKEDEX
The first in the list is of course, the Pokedex. Choi released a picture in which a Johto Pokedex would be available alongside the Kanto one.
NEW TRACKER
Footprint Tracker is a feature where you can identify a Pokemon nearby by its footprint and will show direction to that Pokemon.
SHINY POKEMON
This feature was introduced in Gen 2, so it is assumed that Pokemon Go will also introduced this in the release of Gen 2 Pokemon.
TRADE CENTER
It would be fun if players can trade Pokemon to each other. In the console games, the Pokemon that comes from a trade wil grow faster. It would mean less Pokemon battles to level up. What Choi proposed is to make a "Trade Block" where you can put Pokemon in three blocks. Pokemon Go will automatically search for another trainer that wants your Pokemon. The trade will be done after that. Direct trading is not intended by Choi to avoid cheating.
JOURNEY BADGES
There is a screen that will show your current stats. To earn a badge, complete the following tasks given from the stat page. This feature can go with certain bonuses Niantic has already rolled out.
POKEGEAR, BATTLE CENTER AND LEGENDARY POKEMON
Pokegear is like a mobile phone in the Pokemon world. You can call your friends and make rematches if they're available. Trainers can post status and share Pokemon they have seen by using an App embedded to the Pokemon Go App.
There will be Celebi, who can be spotted all around the world, but it can only be captured by using a GS Ball. So it is either you appreciate it when it appeared on you, or get really really frustrated.
Ho-oh and Lugia would be summoned by using the classic rare items, the Rainbow Wing and the Clear bell. There is no idea yet on how players can get this items but Choi suggested that the time to capture these beast should be limited to ten minutes. After ten minutes is up, the Pokemon and its rare items will be gone forever.
Take note that these features are only created by Choi's imagination and that it is not existing...yet. But Choi hopes, and you should too, that these features would be implemented in the future updates of Pokemon Go!
